Mid-Week Check-In
If you have to ask for it, it loses its value. Whether that’s loyalty, love or support.
I read somewhere that the secret to any great love is the acceptance that it is ever-changing and ever-evolving.
You move together then apart and then together again.
There are lows which are so low you can’t recall how it started and then there are highs where life is everything you ever wished for.
There are small moments, like coffee in the morning, and stopping for a kiss… well just because.
Real love is enduring. It’s not perfect.
Real love you can’t always see but you can feel it.
Don’t chase perfection or a fairytale that doesn’t actually exist. Find someone who you can count on and who supports you through all that life has to dish out and whose got your back too. There will be days of loving, fight and forgiving over and over and over again.
Even the healthiest relationships also argue, have different opinions and sometimes feel frustrated, insecure or bored. Healthy doesn’t mean perfect. What makes a relationship strong is how you choose to navigate challenges together.
One of the most attractive features in a person are physological maturity, problem solving ability, emotional intelligence and someone who can provide protection, leadership and clarity.
